Numerology

Watched Jim Carrey's The number 23 last night with the wifey.  Sabi nung isang contractor sa office namin "Ano yun, pelikula ni Jordan?" and he was serious too. 

Anyways, the movie revolved around Jim's character who became obsessed with this book called The number 23.  The obsession started when he was convinced that the book was a story of his life.  So, to make the long synopsis short, on the book he came across with the cursed number 23 and he went crazy.  Everything in his life, his name, his birthday, once converted into numbers, equals 23.  According to the movie, here's 23 reasons why that number is so mysterious:

1. Each parent contributes 23 chromosomes to the DNA of a child.
2. It takes 23 seconds for blood to circulate throughout the entire body.
3. In humans, the 23rd chromosome determines gender.
4. There are 23 letters in the Latin alphabet.
5. Julius Caesar was stabbed 23 times when he was assassinated.
6. Earth’s axis is off by 23.5 degrees.
7. The Knights Templar had 23 Grand Masters.
8. William Shakespeare was born on April 23, 1564.
9. William Shakespeare died on April 23, 1616.
10. The ancient Egyptian and Sumerian calendars begin on July 23.
11. The Titanic sank the morning of April 15th, 1912 (4 + 1 + 5 + 1 + 9 + 1 + 2 = 23)
12. The Mayans believed the world will end on December 23, 2012 (20 + 1 + 2 = 23)
13. Jim Carrey’s production company is JC23 Entertainment.

So, eventually the book led them to this murder mystery and *SPOILER ALERT* he later found out that he was the author of the book and it was his confession of a murder he did 15 years ago!

What I think about the movie? I was really curious on how he'll perform outside of the Jim Carrey we all know and I was disappointed because hasn't stepped out.  It's like making Ogie Alcasid do a drama role, it just ain't right.  Plus, I was kinda expecting that he'll end up being his old self and murder everyone.  Hehehe.  So, not a very good ending for me. 

If I was to apply numerology in my life, it would be the number 0.  It's round.  I'm round.  I hate math.
