1 day Mistah
May 8, 2007
I wanna be a soldier. Well, the moment that oh so sweet M16 touched my soft, delicate, feminine little hands, I thought I did. Our department had our Team Building last May 3-5, at Philippine Military Academy, YOU DIG?! P…M…motherf*king A!!! The academy where future generals are molded! The academy where PAIN is served for breakfast! The academy where after you graduate and start a revolt, you can run for a spot in senate! Early morning of May 4, after breakfast at our sweet sweet accomodation at the Manor, Camp John Hay, we headed off to PMA for our first activity, FIRING. BWAHAHAHA!!! What is it with guns and mentally challenged people? First, we were divided into 2 groups. My group started off with the M16 time attack challenge. We were each given 1 magazine of ammos and we were tasked to hit all the targets (over sized melted multi flavoured ice candies) as fast as we can. I can tell that a soldiers' patience is also trained in this academy. After the first bullet fired, hanggang ngayon, bingi pa din at may umuugong sa aking kaliwang tenga. The team was able to finish the challenge in less than 3 minutes. I hit 4 ice candies. Halos lahat strawberry flavor, I love strawberry. what's wrong with this picture? I'm a little bitch, too chicken to pose with live ammos… So, after the time attack, our group was led to the 45 accuracy challenge, while the other group now on the M16s firing range. We were each given 3 bullets for a certain range (3ft., 5ft., 10ft. so on). Batang time-zone yata ito! Praktisado sa time crisis! Tingnan nyo, pose action star diba?! See the flaming nostrils? I love the smell of gun powder in the morning (actually noon, ambagal namin, simple follow cannot instruction!) 71 points…according to the charts…EXPERT! So, anyways, our team lost this event. Team A finished the time attack challenge in less than 2 minutes. They had 4 expert shooters against 2 on our team. But overall the whole IT group did good since we reached the PMA freshmen standards. 1-0 for team A. Next event, BOODLE FIGHT!!!! In the end, there were no winners nor losers in this event, only a 12 inch grilled tuna which looks like it was run over by a pedicab twice, a bunch of full military stomach and a big pile of mess. Mas masarap talagang kumain kapag agawan! Score, still 1-0 for team A. Third Event: Obstacle Course. After this event, my thoughts of wanting to be a soldier is slowly fading away…our team won by a split second. Score is tied 1-1. Fourth and Final (thank goodness) Event: Fun Relay…DECISION TIME BABY! Did we do good? Ano pa ba ang ineexpect mo sa mga white collared workers na ang tanging exercise ay ang tumayo papunta sa pantry para magtimpla ng kape at kung ano pa mang exercise na ginagawa on their private time? Madaming nadapa. May nahilo. Merong sumuko na lang sa gitna ng race. Yes, we did pretty good, but was a few minutes short of the PMA freshmen standards. To make the long story short, we won the relay so that makes our team overall champ! The good news for team A is…they won 2nd place! At the end of the day, I was half hearted with my wanting to be a soldier.

Ansaya! I love violence! LURRRRRRVE IT! Nung team-building a couple of years ago, nag-paintball kami at na-unleash ang hidden violent streak ko. Gusto ko din bumaril. I don’t think I like obstacle course and all the other sh*t (ooh, except for the food) but I like guns. In a controlled environment of course. I’m actually a peacenik at heart.
